Frequently asked questions

Is this an official City of Fullerton service?
No. Street Parking Hacks is an independent community project. City data is used as reference material, but posted signs, curb markings, and official City information always govern.
How do I install Street Parking Hacks as an app?
Use the web app now; no app store is needed. No native App Store or Google Play app is currently available, and no release date has been announced. iPhone or iPad (Safari) 1. Open this site in Safari. 2. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. 3. Tap Add. Android (Chrome) 1. Open this site in Chrome. 2. Tap the three-dot menu, then Add to Home screen or Install app. 3. Confirm the installation. Open the new SPH icon from your Home Screen.
What does OC Edition mean?
The product is designed as a regional system rather than a one-city brand. Fullerton is the first city in the Orange County edition. More Orange County cities are planned; launch dates are not announced.
Where is coverage available now?
Current parking-rule coverage is for Fullerton. Use Request your city to tell us which city should be added next and why it matters.
How current is the parking data?
The map combines City maps and pages with OpenStreetMap street geometry. Dated source information is shown where available. Rules and signs can change before the map does.
Why do posted signs override the map?
A sign or curb marking at the exact parking spot can be newer or more specific than citywide data. Treat the map as a decision aid, not permission to ignore the street.
What if the map is wrong?
Choose Data correction below and include the block, side of street, what the sign says, and when you saw it. Location-specific reports remain separate from general inquiries.
Can a business partner or advertise?
The site does not currently load ads. You can send a business inquiry for review, but no response or placement is guaranteed. Any future paid placement must be labeled as an ad and must not affect parking results.
