When is street sweeping?

Public streets are generally swept weekly. Residential windows are generally 7 AM–2:30 PM; industrial and arterial routes may run midnight–6 AM. The City states that parking restrictions may be enforced throughout the full posted window. Listed City holidays have no sweeping or enforcement.

Can an RV or oversized vehicle be stored on the street?

CMMC § 10-185(d) generally prohibits parking large motor vehicles and nonmotorized vehicles on public streets, highways, or alleys, subject to listed residential travel-preparation exceptions. In a residential district, a qualifying large motor vehicle or an attached nonmotorized vehicle may be parked adjacent to the owner’s residence for travel-related activity for up to 48 consecutive hours. A police-chief extension may add 24 hours. After the permitted 48- or 72-hour period, the vehicle may not be parked on any public street for those travel-preparation purposes for at least 48 hours.
