Can I park overnight in Cypress?
Check the posted signs and location-specific rules first. CMC §16-73.1 restricts oversized, nonmotorized, and specified large commercial vehicles on public streets from 2:00–6:00 AM. No general passenger-car ban was confirmed, but that finding does not establish blanket overnight permission.

What is the overnight rule?
Check the posted signs and location-specific rules first. CMC §16-73.1 restricts oversized, nonmotorized, and specified large commercial vehicles on public streets from 2:00–6:00 AM. No general passenger-car ban was confirmed, but that finding does not establish blanket overnight permission.
How does the 72-hour rule work?
No 72 consecutive hours. CMC §16-55 requires movement of at least 100 feet or an odometer change of at least 0.1 mile to reset the rule.
When is street sweeping?
Most posted routes restrict parking from 8 AM–noon. Area 23 and named street segments have exceptions. Holidays suspend both sweeping and related enforcement; the exact posted sign controls.
What about permits, RVs, or oversized vehicles?
Oversized overnight permits have narrow categories. Guest, new-resident, sole-means-of-transport and short loading permits have different limits. A permit does not override sweeping or the 72-hour rule.

What should I verify at the space?
